Chillin' Alla Luce del Sole

Well, today was boring. lolz ;) I cleaned my room, did laundry, and listened to music. I helped Cyndi with an English project. She's building a scale model of the Globe theatre that Shakespeare made famous. We used clay to build the entire thing and added straw/popsicle sticks to add support to the walls. We have to redo the outer walls because part of it collapsed while we were baking it. I guess we'll finish that tomorrow. I had a little "snack" during that to compensate for my small dinner. I can't live without a completely full stomach! I am a growing girl! lol :* Yesterday, I went over to Collin's house after the Forensics tournament. I guess I'll talk about the tourney first. It was at Liberty HS. I did a poetry interp. on T.S. Eliot's "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats." It's such a good piece that my coach put together for me. It incorporates the musical "Cats" into some of te poems I selected from the collection. it's a lot of fun to do. I just need o work on the actual memorization and interpretation because my script gets in the way sometimes. Anyway, to Collin's house. It was snowing a ton when we were headed to his house. A lot of accidents blocked the roads so we took a very round-about way to his house. His mom is such a wonderful driver! We made it home in one piece! lol ;) When we got there, Collin and I went downstairs and looked for a good movie to watch on t.v. or something. We decided on The Ring. We had dinner, next, and an awesome dessert! I loved it! So scrumptious! Then, we went down into the "cave" (as his mom calls it) and watched The Ring. It was so scary! After it was over, I was so totally scared. I loved it! Collin convinced me after a lot of talking that it was just a movie and I had no reason to be scared. I knew all that already but it was still scary. We left a little later. We arrived at my house on time and safe. Collin walked me to my door and walked me in. We said our good-nights and kissed good-bye. I watched him go to the car and closed the door. I went to bed and slept soundly.
