Six Flags avec le TAC
Quiet Nelly Furtado - Powerless
Monday - Mom took Cyndi and I out shopping. First, we went to Home Depot to return some boards and look at stuff for Mom's garden out back. Then, we went to Wal-Mart to try on bathing suits and put stuff on lay-away for the beginning of school. I bought black under armor, indoor soccer shoes, a beige cardigan-like shirt, a jean skirt, and a new pair of carpenter jeans. Then, she took us out to lunch at China Cottage. I had General Tao's Chicken. It was soooo good!
Tuesday - The City Council Mtg. was at 12:45 PM. We had to wait for our resolution of recognition. It was for the Teen Action Team (the active body of the Teen Action Council). A resolution was written up and all of our names are printed on it. We all had to get up and stand in front of everyone in council chambers after the resolution was read aloud. Then, we smiled and were given thanks in person from the mayor (whom we have met several times). We all received copies of the resolutions, also. It was really neat. Around 2:30 that afternoon we all went to Fargos for pizza and sodas. We celebrated a good year, the seniors who were graduating, and Paige LaPota's birthday. She turned 17.
Wednesday - The Teen Action Council decided to take a bunch of us to Six Flags. Only a few of us ended up going, though. And... We were able to bring friends because of the lack of people who were going. I brought Anthony and Cyndi with me. It was fun... We were there when the park opened and rode the Mind Eraser and The Boomerang. After that, Cyndi was hungry so we went to eat in the big mess hall type thingy. After that, we went to the Island Kingdom and rode on the Swiss Family Tobogan (sp?), hit the wave pool a few times, went around the lazy river, and rode on the water slides. The rain starting picking up a bit so we dried off and headed for Disaster Canyon. Anythony and I rode on it (Cyndi didn't want to get on it). It was fun. Then we went to go sit and eat again. The rain and hail picked up a lot and we had to stay in the pavilion for about an hour. We were let out of the place and then a voice over the PA said that the park had to close because of tornado warnings and that we would receive free tickets (which we did). Then, we went home (stopping my McDonald's to get a small snack).
Thursday - I'm just really missing Colling right now. It's cooling down (opposed to the hot weather we have had recently) a bit. I burned two CDs today for Cyndi and played FFIX. I'm almost done with the 3rd disc now. I watched the MTV Movie Awards with Cyndi and Dad and then finished up with some beef stew and a hot-dog for dinner. I updated my website and my journal a bit. Jordan called me a ton today and I was either never at my phone or was by my phone but couldn't answer it at the moment. I shoulda called him back but I kept getting side-tracked with t.v., video games, and dinner. lol... Figures, right? Alors, I haven't talked to Collin in a while. I wonder if he'll get online in a bit so we can talk a little. I'm going to see him on Saturday for the A Perfect Circle concert but I still miss him a ton. I think this is what withdrawal is... rofl!
